HOUSE BILL No. 4538

 

April 11, 2013, Introduced by Rep. Geiss and referred to the Committee on Agriculture.

 

     A bill to amend 1964 PA 283, entitled

 

"Weights and measures act,"

 

(MCL 290.601 to 290.635) by adding section 10c.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 10c. The department shall prepare and maintain a report

 

of all retail locations that sell motor fuel in which an inspection

 

or a test determines that a commercial weighing and measuring

 

device failed to render an accurate measurement. This report shall

 

be updated with current information and posted on the department's

 

website. The information in the report on the department's website

 

shall be searchable by city, village, and township.
