HOUSE BILL NO. 4558
A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 16307a.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 16307a. The department shall offer a credit for or prorate the fee that is otherwise required under this article for an initial license or registration or a renewal of a license or registration for the portion of the effective period of the license or registration that the licensee or registrant is temporarily unable to engage in the practice of his or her health profession as a result of a state of emergency or disaster declared under the emergency management act, 1976 PA 390, MCL 30.401 to 30.421, or 1945 PA 302, MCL 10.31 to 10.33, or an emergency order issued under section 2253.
