A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled
"The revised school code,"
by amending section 402 (MCL 380.402), as amended by 2000 PA 230.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 402. A school district that has a pupil membership of at
least
100,000 40,000 enrolled on the most recent pupil membership
count day and that is located entirely within a city with a
population of at least 500,000 as of the most recent decennial
census is a first class school district governed by this part.
