A bill to amend 2019 PA 39, entitled

"Administration of opioid antagonists act,"

by amending section 105 (MCL 15.675).

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 105. (1) An employee or agent may possess an opioid antagonist distributed to that employee or agent under section 103 and may administer that opioid antagonist to an individual if both of the following apply:

(a) The employee or agent has been trained in the proper administration of that opioid antagonist.

(b) The employee or agent has reason to believe that the individual is experiencing an opioid-related overdose.

(2) Subject to appropriation of sufficient funding, a local health department shall provide an employee or agent of an agency that is a school district with the training required under subsection (1).

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are enacted into law:

(a) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4735 (request no. 02173'23 *).

(b) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4737 (request no. 02913'23 *).

(c) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4734 (request no. 03377'23).
