HOUSE BILL No. 4983

     A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled

 

"Public health code,"

 

(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 20919a.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 20919a. Notwithstanding any provision of this act to the

 

contrary, a medical control authority shall not enter into an

 

agreement for the practice of a life support agency or licensed

 

emergency medical services personnel within its region unless the

 

agreement is in writing. Upon request, the medical control

 

authority shall provide to the department each agreement described

 

in this section into which the medical authority has entered.
