A bill to amend 1972 PA 382, entitled
"Traxler-McCauley-Law-Bowman bingo act,"
(MCL 432.101 to 432.120) by adding section 10c.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 10c. (1) A person who wishes to apply for a license or
renewal of a license to operate a millionaire party venue under
this act shall submit a written application to the bureau on a form
prescribed by rules promulgated under this act.
(2) If the commissioner determines that an applicant is
eligible and has paid the annual fee prescribed by subsection (4),
the bureau may issue a millionaire party venue license to allow
millionaire parties to be conducted by millionaire party licensees
on property owned or leased by the applicant.
(3) A millionaire party venue license expires at 12 midnight
on the last day of February of the calendar year after the license
is issued.
(4) The annual fee for a millionaire party venue license is
$1,000.00. The monthly fee for a millionaire party venue license is
$200.00. The weekly fee for a millionaire party venue license is
$50.00.
(5) A person who holds a millionaire party venue license is
equally responsible with the millionaire party licensee for
ensuring that this act and the rules promulgated under this act are
followed in the conduct of a millionaire party on the millionaire
party venue licensee's property.
