     A bill to amend 2012 PA 176, entitled

 

"Mozelle senior or vulnerable adult medical alert act,"

 

(MCL 28.711 to 28.718) by amending the title and by adding section

 

2a.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

TITLE

 

     An act to prescribe the senior or vulnerable adult medical

 

alert as the official response to reports of certain missing

 

persons; to provide for the establishment of the missing senior and

 

vulnerable adult plan; to provide for the broadcast of information

 

regarding those incidents; and to provide for certain civil

 

immunity.

 

     Sec. 2a. (1) The department of state police shall establish


and maintain a missing senior and vulnerable adult plan.

 

     (2) The missing senior and vulnerable adult plan shall be

 

designed to rapidly disseminate useful information in a

 

predetermined manner to radio and television stations within this

 

state.

 

     (3) The missing senior and vulnerable adult plan shall be

 

activated only in accordance with the policies established by the

 

department of state police.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
