     A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled

 

"The management and budget act,"

 

by amending section 491 (MCL 18.1491).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 491. The fiscal year of the state shall commence October

 

1 and continue through September 30. be as follows:

 

     (a) For the 2009-2010 fiscal year, commence October 1 and

 

continue through September 30.

 

     (b) For the 2010-2011 fiscal year, commence October 1 and

 

continue through June 30.

 

     (c) For the 2011-2012 fiscal year and for each fiscal year

 

thereafter, commence July 1 and continue through June 30.
