A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 11527c.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 11527c. A local unit of government shall not adopt or enforce an ordinance that requires residents or businesses to use the services of a particular hauler of solid waste or recyclable materials.
