HOUSE BILL No. 5956

 

March 16, 2010, Introduced by Reps. Scripps, Tlaib, Robert Jones, Durhal, Gregory, Johnson, Angerer, Dean and Lisa Brown and referred to the Committee on Health Policy.

 

     A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled

 

"The social welfare act,"

 

(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 109k.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 109k. Medical services and treatment shall be provided

 

under this act to eligible patients who are 21 years of age or

 

older who have hereditary coagulation defects, commonly known as

 

hemophilia.
