SUBSTITUTE FOR
HOUSE BILL NO. 6187
A bill to amend 1976 PA 388, entitled
"Michigan campaign finance act,"
(MCL 169.201 to 169.282) by adding section 55f.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 55f. A corporation, joint stock company, domestic
dependent sovereign, or labor organization that makes an
independent expenditure that violates this act is subject to a
civil fine of up to 4 times the amount of that independent
expenditure.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
unless all of the following bills of the 95th Legislature are
enacted into law:
(a) House Bill No. 6182.
(b) House Bill No. 6183.
(c) House Bill No. 6184.
(d) House Bill No. 6185.
(e) House Bill No. 6186.
(f) House Bill No. 6188.
