HOUSE BILL No. 6440

 

 

October 4, 2018, Introduced by Reps. Calley and Yaroch and referred to the Committee on Regulatory Reform.

 

     A bill to amend 1941 PA 207, entitled

 

"Fire prevention code,"

 

(MCL 29.1 to 29.33) by adding section 3d.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 3d. A school that has a secure vestibule is not required

 

to install a manual fire alarm box within the secure vestibule if a

 

manual fire alarm box is located within 5 feet of the door on the

 

secure side of the vestibule.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
