SENATE BILL NO. 221

A bill to designate the second Monday in October of each year as Indigenous Peoples' Day in this state.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 1. The second Monday in October of each year shall be known as "Indigenous Peoples' Day" in this state.
