SENATE BILL No. 559

 

 

June 30, 2011, Introduced by Senators JONES, BIEDA, ROCCA, ROBERTSON, GLEASON and SCHUITMAKER and referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1956 PA 205, entitled

 

"The paternity act,"

 

by amending section 10 (MCL 722.720), as amended by 2001 PA 109.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 10. The court has continuing jurisdiction over

 

proceedings brought under this act to increase do any of the

 

following:

 

     (a) Increase or decrease the amount fixed by the order of

 

filiation subject to section 7. , and to provide

 

     (b) Provide for, change, and enforce provisions of the order

 

of filiation relating to the custody or support of or parenting

 

time with the child.

 

     (c) Determine an action to set aside the order of filiation

 

under the revocation of paternity act.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect


 

unless Senate Bill No. 557                                    

 

            of the 96th Legislature is enacted into law.
