ENROLLED SENATE BILL No. 921
AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled “An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and certain resolutions,” (MCL 250.1001 to 250.2091) by adding section 8c.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Sec. 8c. (1) The portion of highway M-35 in Forsyth Township beginning at the northern township limit of Turin Township extending northwest to the southern township limit of Richmond Township shall be known as the “Ben Lauren and Don Riling Memorial Highway”.
(2) The bridge on highway US-2 over the Escanaba River in Delta County shall be known as the “Senator Tom Casperson Memorial Bridge”.
(3) The portion of highway US-24 in Wayne County
beginning at the intersection with M-153 and extending north to the
intersection with Warren Avenue shall be known as the “Julie Plawecki Memorial
Highway”.
This act
is ordered to take immediate effect.
