SUBSTITUTE FOR
SENATE BILL NO. 953
A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled
"Michigan election law,"
(MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding section 483b.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 483b. At least 18 hours before the board of state
canvassers is scheduled to meet to consider the approval of the
petition form as provided in section 483a, the secretary of state
shall post on its website the statement describing the subject
matter of the proposal as it appears on the petition form.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
unless Senate Bill No. 951 of the 95th Legislature is enacted into
law.
Enacting section 2. This amendatory act takes effect November
15, 2010.
