SENATE BILL NO. 957

A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 43547a.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 43547a. (1) The department shall not refuse to renew the authorization for an authorized agent to issue licenses under this part for lack of sales if the authorized agent meets all of the following:

(a) Has been authorized to issue licenses for at least 5 years.

(b) Has sold at least $1,000.00 of sportcards, licenses, duplicate licenses, applications, or permits during the previous license year.

(2) As used in this section, "authorized agent" means a person authorized to issue licenses under this part.
