1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to liquor; modifying food service requirements in Minneapolis and St.
1.3Paul.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS; INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR.
1.6Notwithstanding any other requirements under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.7340A.404, subdivision 5, the city of Minneapolis may authorize a holder of an on-sale
1.8wine license issued pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subdivision 5, who
1.9is also licensed to sell 3.2 percent malt liquors at on-sale pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
1.10section 340A.411, to sell intoxicating malt liquors at on-sale without an additional license.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the Minneapolis
1.12City Council, and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.

1.13    Sec. 2. CITY OF ST. PAUL; INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR.
1.14Notwithstanding any other requirements under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.15340A.404, subdivision 5, the city of St. Paul may authorize a holder of an on-sale wine
1.16license issued pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subdivision 5, who is
1.17also licensed to sell 3.2 percent malt liquors at on-sale pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
1.18section 340A.411, to sell intoxicating malt liquors at on-sale without an additional license.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the St. Paul City
1.20Council, and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
