1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the city of Coleraine
1.3for public infrastructure improvements; authorizing the sale and issuance of
1.4state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. COLERAINE SEWER AND WATER.
1.7 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $1,150,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.8fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the
1.9city of Coleraine to design, engineer, and construct improvements to the city's water,
1.10sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems along Roosevelt Avenue, and for the associated
1.11street reconstruction. This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of
1.12management and budget determines that at least an equal amount is committed to the
1.13project from nonstate sources.
1.14 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.15bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.16bonds of the state in an amount up to $1,150,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.17the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.18Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
