1.2relating to capital improvements; appropriating money for Clara City
1.3infrastructure improvements; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS; CLARA CITY.
1.6 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $748,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to Clara City to design, improve, and
1.8reconstruct a local road to a nine-ton capacity with curb and gutter, and to replace or
1.9extend existing water main, sanitary, and storm sewers to serve the South Hawk Creek
1.10Business Park area of Clara City. This appropriation is not available until at least an equal
1.11amount has been committed from nonstate sources.
1.12 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.13bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.14bonds of the state in an amount up to $748,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.15the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.16Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
