1.2relating to capital improvements; modifying a previous appropriation related to
1.3the Southeastern Minnesota Regional Public Safety Training Center;amending
1.4Laws 2008, chapter 179, section 15, subdivision 8.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2008, chapter 179, section 15, subdivision 8, is amended to read:
1.9Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, for
1.10a grant to Olmsted County to acquire land for,
1.11and to design, construct, furnish, and equip
1.12the Southeastern Minnesota Regional Public
1.13Safety Training Center in Olmsted County.
1.14The facility must include, but is not limited
1.15to, a live burn training simulator, a driving
1.16range, and a weapons training facility.
1.17This appropriation or any portion of it isnot
1.18availableuntil when the commissioner has
1.19determined thatat least an equal amount
1.20has been committed it has been matched,
1.21dollar-for-dollar, from nonstate sources.
1.22 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.23This section is effective retroactively from December 27, 2007.
