1.3obligation bonds for the county nursing home; amending Laws 2003, chapter
1.4127, article 12, section 28.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2003, chapter 127, article 12, section 28, is amended to read:
1.7 Sec. 28. NURSING HOME BONDS AUTHORIZED.
1.8 Itasca County may issue bonds under Minnesota Statutes, sections376.55 and
1.9376.56
, to finance the construction of a 35-bed nursing home facility to replace an existing
1.1035-bed private facility located in the county. The bonds issued under this sectionmust
1.11may be payable solely from revenuesand or may not be general obligations of the county.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.This section is effective the day after
1.13the governing body of Itasca County and its chief clerical officer timely complete their
1.14compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
