A bill for an act

relating to local government; extending and increasing the annual maximum debt
the city of Saint Paul may issue; amending Laws 1971, chapter 773, section
1, subdivision 2, as amended.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

    Section 1. Laws 1971, chapter 773, section 1, subdivision 2, as amended by Laws
1974, chapter 351, section 5, Laws 1976, chapter 234, sections 1 and 7, Laws 1978,
chapter 788, section 1, Laws 1981, chapter 369, section 1, Laws 1983, chapter 302,
section 1, Laws 1988, chapter 513, section 1, Laws 1992, chapter 511, article 9, section
23, Laws 1998, chapter 389, article 3, section 27, and Laws 2002, chapter 390, section
23, is amended to read:
    Subd. 2. For each of the years 2003 to 2013 2012 to 2024, the city of St. Paul is
authorized to issue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $20,000,000 $30,000,000
for each year.
EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day after final enactment.
