1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 609.02, subdivision 16, is amended to read:
1.7 Subd. 16. Qualified domestic violence-related offense. "Qualified domestic
1.8violence-related offense" includes a violation of or an attempt to violate sections518B.01,
1.9subdivision 14 (violation of domestic abuse order for protection);

1.10murder);609.19 (second-degree murder);
609.221 (first-degree assault);
