1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [43A.145] E-VERIFY.
1.7Appointing authorities in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches must
1.8verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees using the federal E-Verify
1.9program. The commissioner must oversee training for executive branch appointing
1.10authorities on the use of E-Verify, and must conduct periodic audits of executive branch
1.11appointing authorities to ensure compliance with this section.
