1.2relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of tax-forfeited land bordering
1.3public waters in Dakota County.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
1.6WATERS; DAKOTA COUNTY.
1.7(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45; 282.01, subdivision 1a; and
1.8282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282,
1.9Dakota County may convey to the city of Rosemount for no consideration the tax-forfeited
1.10land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c).
1.11(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
1.12attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal description to correct errors and
1.13ensure accuracy. The conveyance must provide that the land reverts to the state if the city
1.14of Rosemount stops using the land for park or trail purposes.
1.15(c) The land to be conveyed is described as Outlot J of Outlots of Brockway (Dakota
1.16County PID No. 34-54300-00-100).
1.17(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interest would be
1.18best served if the land is conveyed to the city of Rosemount for park or trail purposes.
1.3public waters in Dakota County.
