1.2relating to insurance; enacting the recommendation of the Small Group Health
1.3Insurance Market Working Group by repealing a requirement that small
1.4employers that do not offer group health coverage either offer, or file a form
1.5with the state stating a decision not to offer, a Section 125 plan through which
1.6employees may contribute wages to a pretax account from which to pay for
1.7individual health insurance;repealing Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.07.
1.8BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.9 Section 1. REPEALER; SMALL EMPLOYER MANDATORY
1.10CONSIDERATION OF OFFERING SECTION 125 PLAN.
1.11Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.07, is repealed effective the day following
1.12final enactment.
