1.2relating to liquor; allowing importation of bulk spirits;amending Minnesota
1.3Statutes 2012, sections 340A.101, by adding a subdivision; 340A.315, by adding
1.4a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 340A.101, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 4a. Bulk distilled spirits. "Bulk distilled spirits" means distilled spirits in a
1.9container having a capacity in excess of one gallon.
1.10 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 340A.315, is amended by adding a
1.11subdivision to read:
1.12 Subd. 10. Bulk distilled spirits. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary,
1.13if no wholesaler is able to provide distilled spirits in bulk form, a farm winery may
1.14purchase distilled spirits in bulk form for purposes allowed under this section from any
1.15available source.
