1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2013 Supplement, section 154.003, is amended to read:
1.8154.003 FEES.
1.9 (a) The fees collected, as required in this chapter, chapter 214, and the rules of the
1.10board, shall be paid to the board. The board shall deposit the fees in the general fund
1.11in the state treasury.
1.12 (b) The board shall charge the following fees:
1.13 (1) examination and certificate, registered barber, $85;
1.14(2) retake of written examination, registered barber, $10;
1.15 (3) examination and certificate, apprentice, $80;
1.16(4) retake of written examination, apprentice, $10;
1.17 (5) examination, instructor, $180;
1.18 (6) certificate, instructor, $65;
1.19 (7) temporary teacher or apprentice permit, $80;
1.20 (8) renewal of registration, registered barber, $80;
1.21 (9) renewal of registration, apprentice, $70;
1.22 (10) renewal of registration, instructor, $80;
1.23 (11) renewal of temporary teacher permit, $65;
1.24 (12) student permit, $45;
2.1(13) renewal of student permit, $25;
2.2 (14) initial shop registration, $85;
2.3 (15) initial school registration, $1,030;
2.4 (16) renewal shop registration, $85;
2.5 (17) renewal school registration, $280;
2.6 (18) restoration of registered barber registration, $95;
2.7 (19) restoration of apprentice registration, $90;
2.8 (20) restoration of shop registration, $105;
2.9 (21) initial mobile barber shop registration, $85;
2.10(22) renewal mobile barber shop registration, $85;
2.11 (23) change of ownership or location, $55;
2.12(22) (24) duplicate registration, $40;
2.13(23) (25) home study course, $75;
2.14(24) (26) letter of registration verification, $25; and
2.15(25) (27) reinspection, $100.
2.16 Sec. 2. RULEMAKING.
2.17The Board of Barber Examiners shall establish rules regulating mobile barber shops.
2.18 Sec. 3. REPEALER.
2.19Minnesota Rules, part 2100.7000, is repealed.
2.20EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
