1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to health; providing an exemption for performance indicators used for
1.3quality incentive payments;amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.02,
1.4by adding a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.02, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8    Subd. 2a. Quality indicator exemption. In determining quality incentive payments
1.9under subdivision 2, vaccination of children shall not be used as a performance indicator
1.10or quality indicator for rating providers. For purposes of this subdivision, provider has the
1.11meaning given in section 62J.03, subdivision 8.
