1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. LEGISLATIVE ENERGY COMMISSION; PROPANE CONVERSION
1.6STRATEGIES.
1.7(a) The Legislative Energy Commission is requested to investigate the feasibility
1.8of converting propane gas users to natural gas. The investigation, among other things,
1.9should assess the technical and economic issues for converting nonmetropolitan users of
1.10propane gas to pipeline service of natural gas.
1.11(b) The commission is requested to complete its investigation so that any
1.12recommendations for legislation are completed by January 15, 2015.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
