1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2013 Supplement, section 124D.111, subdivision 1,
1.8is amended to read:
1.9 Subdivision 1. School lunch aid computation. Each school year, the state must
1.10pay participants in the national school lunch program the amount of 12.5 cents for each
1.11full paid, reduced-price, and free student lunch and 52.5 cents for each reduced-price
1.12student lunch served to students.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for fiscal year 2015 and later.
1.14 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 124D.111, is amended by adding a
1.15subdivision to read:
1.16 Subd. 4. No fees. A participant that receives school lunch aid under this section
1.17must make lunch available without charge to all participating students who qualify for free
1.18or reduced-price meals.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for fiscal year 2015 and later.
1.20 Sec. 3. Laws 2013, chapter 116, article 7, section 21, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
1.21 Subd. 2. School lunch. For school lunch aid according to Minnesota Statutes,
1.22section124D.111 , and Code of Federal Regulations, title 7, section
210.17 :
