1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to taxation; individual income and property tax refund; providing
1.3a checkoff for general fund contributions;proposing coding for new law in
1.4Minnesota Statutes, chapter 290.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. [290.433] I'M NOT TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY FUND CHECKOFF.
1.7    (a) An individual who files an income tax return or property tax refund claim form
1.8may designate on the original return that $1 or more shall be added to the tax or deducted
1.9from the refund that would otherwise be payable by or to that individual and paid into the
1.10general fund.
1.11    (b) All amounts designated by individuals under paragraph (a) must be deposited in
1.12the state treasury and credited to the general fund.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for taxable years beginning after
1.14December 31, 2010.
