1.2relating to water; modifying groundwater appropriation permit requirements;
1.3amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 103G.287, subdivision 2.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 103G.287, subdivision 2, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subd. 2. Relationship to surface water resources. Groundwater appropriations
1.8that are proven to havepotential negative impacts to surface waters are subject to
1.9applicable provisions in section103G.285 . For designated trout streams, groundwater
1.10appropriations that are proven to have negative impacts to trout stream habitat are subject
1.11to the applicable provisions in section 103G.285.
1.3amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 103G.287, subdivision 2.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 103G.287, subdivision 2, is amended to
