1.2relating to data practices; classifying certain contact information; proposing

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. [13.356] PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION.
1.6Except where disclosure is specifically authorized by law, and notwithstanding
1.7section 13.04, subdivision 2, the personal e-mail address and telephone number of
1.8an individual that are collected, maintained, or received by a government entity for
1.9notification or informational purposes are private data on individuals, but may be shared
1.10with any other government entity for governmental purposes.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment
1.12and applies to data collected, maintained, or received before, on, or after that date.
