1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Joseph Michael Klevan of Edina, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Joseph Michael Klevan is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 103
1.8and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills, earned all required merit
1.10badges, and completed a community service project, which involved fund-raising and leading a
1.11crew to replace the plastic kneeler stops at St. Lawrence Catholic Church; and
1.12WHEREAS, he successfully passed his Eagle Board of Review on May 29, 2013; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Joseph Michael Klevan of Edina, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Joseph Michael Klevan.
