1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Zachary Tomczik for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Zachary Tomczik is a responsible and serving member of Boy Scouts of
1.7America and has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills; and
1.8WHEREAS, for his community service project, Zachary designed trail signs, coordinated
1.9their production, and led a crew of scouts and citizens in placing them along the Beaver Island
1.10Trail in St. Cloud; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on December 27, 2015, in recognition
1.12of Zachary Tomczik; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Zachary Tomczik for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Zachary Tomczik.
