1.1A Senate resolution
1.2recognizing Lieutenant Brad Nutzman for being named Saint Paul Park Fire
1.3Department's 2019 Firefighter of the Year.
1.4WHEREAS, those who work tirelessly in their communities to protect the public's safety
1.5and well-being perform an important service deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, firefighting involves extensive training to extinguish hazardous fires that
1.7threaten property and civilian or natural populations and to rescue people from dangerous situations;
1.8and
1.9WHEREAS, being recognized by one's peers is an esteemed honor and Lieutenant Brad
1.10Nutzman has served as a dedicated member of the Saint Paul Park Fire Department; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.12congratulates Lieutenant Brad Nutzman for being named the Saint Paul Park Fire Department's
1.132019 Firefighter of the Year and extends gratitude for his invaluable service.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.15enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.16Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Lieutenant Brad
1.17Nutzman.
