1.2congratulating James Trapper Utke for graduating with honors from Park Rapids Area
1.3High School.
1.4WHEREAS, James Trapper Utke graduates from Park Rapids Area High School on May
1.527, 2018, having earned the distinct honor of class Salutatorian; and
1.6WHEREAS, James will now head West to pursue a degree in Engineering at the great,
1.7six-time NCAA FCS Football Champions, the North Dakota State University Bison; and
1.8WHEREAS, James was selected to attend Boys State in 2017, and while advancing his
1.9interest in government at such an early age is commendable, be careful - your uncle attended Boys
1.10State in 1974 and now he gets to sign crazy resolutions for his nephew; and
1.11WHEREAS, James has now reached the legal voting age and shall always vote for the
1.12Republican candidate; and
1.13WHEREAS, study hard, graduate, find a good job, be successful, and pay lots of taxes -
1.14your elders are depending on you; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates James Trapper Utke for graduating with honors from Park Rapids Area High School
1.17and wishes him luck in the future.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.19enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.20Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to James Trapper Utke.
