1.2recognizing Park Grove Electric on being named the Business of the Year for the 2018
1.3Heritage Days Festival.
1.4WHEREAS, Park Grove Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor service that has
1.5been serving Cottage Grove, Newport, South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, St. Paul Park, and
1.6Woodbury since 1973; and
1.7WHEREAS, Donald and Mary Drigans started their business working out of their home 45
1.8years ago and eventually moved their business to St. Paul Park; and
1.9WHEREAS, two of their children, Don and Jim, grew up helping their parents with their
1.10business, and took over as owners in 1996; and
1.11WHEREAS, for over 30 years, the Drigans family has built a solid reputation and is
1.12committed to providing quality service to the community; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Park Grove Electric on being named the Business of the Year for the 2018 Heritage
1.15Days Festival and wishes them continued success in the future.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.17enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.18Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Park Grove Electric.
