1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Andrew Zipp of Saint Michael, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Andrew Zipp is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 547 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved constructing benches and a swing for the Saint
1.11Michael Cemetery; and
1.12WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America Board of Review met on Thursday, December 16,
1.132010, and bestowed the rank of Eagle Scout on Andrew; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Andrew Zipp of Saint Michael, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Andrew Zipp.
