1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Blake Hokanson of Shakopee, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle
1.3Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Blake Hokanson is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 218 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Blake has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills,
1.11completed a community service projectwhich involved leading a group of 13 volunteers in the
1.12planning, building, and installation of four benches at Red Oak Elementary, and fulfilled all other
1.13requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on November 19, 2020; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Blake Hokanson of Shakopee, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.18copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.19Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Blake Hokanson.
