1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating J. Luke Loegering of Crookston, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, J. Luke Loegering is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 41 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved renovating the outdoor learning environment for the
1.11Highland Elementary School Nature Center, replacing six amphitheater benches, building and
1.12installing over a dozen bird houses, and clearing walking trails; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates J. Luke Loegering of Crookston, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to J. Luke Loegering.
