1.2congratulating Ronald W. Mackedanz on receiving the Order of Saint
1.3Maurice.
1.4WHEREAS, Saint Maurice exemplified the bravery, commitment, and gallantry associated
1.5with the Infantry soldier; and
1.6WHEREAS, the Order of Saint Maurice recognizes individuals who have contributed
1.7significantly to the Infantry in ways that stand out in the eyes of the recipient's seniors, subordinates,
1.8and peers; and
1.9WHEREAS, award recipients have also demonstrated the highest standards of integrity and
1.10moral character, an outstanding degree of professional competence, and have served the United
1.11States Army Infantry or the Infantry community with distinction; and
1.12WHEREAS, a ceremony will be held on March 29, 2021, to present Ronald W. Mackedanz
1.13with this prestigious award; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Ronald W. Mackedanz on receiving the Order of Saint Maurice and honors him for
1.16his service.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.18enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.19Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ronald W. Mackedanz.
