1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Max Otte of St. Michael, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the BSA; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Max Otte is a member of Scouts BSA and has displayed the attributes of a
1.7responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, Max has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, has completed a community
1.9service project that involved building a gaga ball court on the playground at Fair Oaks Elementary
1.10in Brooklyn Park, and has fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle
1.11Scout; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held September 19, 2021; and
1.13WHEREAS, Max will graduate high school in the spring of 2022. Following graduation,
1.14Max plans to attend college locally and remain involved in Scouting as an adult leader; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Max Otte of St. Michael, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
2.1BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
2.2copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
2.3Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Max Otte.
