1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Will Unger for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Will Unger is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the
1.7attributes of a responsible and serving member, especially for his leadership within his troop and
1.8being a good role model for his peers and the younger scouts; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved putting up a sign in front of Holy Spirit Church and
1.11landscaping around it; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on March 22, 2015; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Will Unger for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Will Unger.
