SB 1469 - Under the act, once approval of the detailed site investigation for a solid waste disposal area has been granted by the Department of Natural Resources, the permit process shall be held in abeyance until the Department has completed and published an update of the statewide solid waste management plan. This provision shall apply only to applications that have not received detailed site investigation approvals before August 28, 2024.
