AN ACT

To amend chapter 173, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to higher education tuition for undocumented students.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 173, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 173.1112, to read as follows:

            173.1112. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no public institution of higher education located within this state shall offer a tuition rate to undocumented students that is less than the tuition rate charged to citizens or nationals of the United States whose residence is not in Missouri and such students shall be charged the same tuition rate as international students.
