AN ACT

To amend chapter 436, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to financial records of professional sports teams receiving public funds.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 436, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 436.170, to read as follows: 

            436.170. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any professional sports team in this state shall make their financial records and ownership public if they are going to receive any public funds from the state.
