AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE INTERCHANGE AT THE INTERSECTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 63 AND MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 26 IN GEORGE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "PERCY L. MAPLES INTERCHANGE"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The interchange located at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 63 and Mississippi Highway 26 in George County, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "State Representative Percy L. Maples Memorial Interchange."
(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs approaching the interchange described in subsection (1) of this section.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
